A Great Smile at Any Age!

We Treat Everyone from Age 7 through Adulthood

Early Treatment

You probably know that it’s never too late to begin orthodontic treatment — but when it comes to your youngster’s teeth, did you know that earlier may be better than later? According to the American Association of Orthodontists, kids should have an initial orthodontic screening at age 7.

Adolescent Treatment

There are several good reasons why adolescence is the optimal time to meet with an orthodontist, though occasionally even earlier intervention is called for. One reason has to do with the development of the teeth: there’s no set timetable for every kid, but generally by the age of 11-13, the deciduous (baby) teeth have all been lost, and the permanent ones have largely come in.

Adult Treatment

We’re seeing more and more adult orthodontic patients these days, and it’s not hard to figure out why. Appliances that are barely noticeable have been developed to give adults more discreet choices when it comes to orthodontic treatment. Many adults realize that investing in a smile makeover can have significant benefits, socially and professionally. Straightening teeth can be an important part of that confidence-boosting makeover process.

Treatment Options for Kids, Teens & Adults

We’ll Help You Find Your Best Treatment Plan

Damon® Braces: Metal or Clear

The Damon® Braces use a slide mechanism that opens and closes like a door to hold a shape-memory wire in place. This eliminates the need for elastic ties that can attract and collect plaque and allows for fewer appointments. Damon® brackets are smaller and smoother, making this system the discreet, comfortable, and easy-to-clean choice for braces.

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners are the best option if you are looking for discreet orthodontic treatment. The aligners are clear, aesthetically pleasing and hardly noticeable. They are also removeable, meaning you can eat and drink what you want and take photos without braces. We use Invisalign® or Spark Aligners.

Other Procedures + Appliances

We offer various treatment and appliance options, including: Laser Gingivectomy, Enamel Contoring, Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), Palatal Expanders, Habit Appliances, and Jaw Surgery Referrals. When you’re ready to achieve the smile you’ve always wanted, schedule your free consultation and we will help you find the best options to transform your smile.

THE MOST ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

iTero 3D Scanner

The iTero scanner digitally captures the structure of the teeth and gums using the latest optical technology. Your mouth is scanned with a radiation-free laser, and in as little as two to three minutes, the laser renders a digitally perfect, 3D impression of your teeth and soft tissue structures.

3D Printer

Our 3D printer creates aligners quickly and efficiently, while giving our patients a precise fit. Our 3D printing system works in tandem with the iTero Scanner and is used to create Invisalign trays and clear retainers.

CBCT

Dental CBCT is a special type of x-ray used when regular two-dimensional x-rays are not sufficient. CBCT scans provide three-dimensional images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan. This may help with diagnosis, treatment planning, and evaluation of certain conditions.

Financial Options

We strive to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. For your convenience, we accept checks, Visa and MasterCard credit cards. We also offer CareCredit as an outside financing source. For payment in full, we extend a 5% courtesy.

Insurance

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims. Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges. We are proud to be a participating provider of military insurance.

Getting Started on Your Smile

We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your braces and Invisalign treatment. Your first visit to the orthodontist will consist of a complementary examination and discussion of potential treatment options. This important visit will address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment.

After we have completed the evaluation, we will discuss estimated treatment time and fees. We encourage questions from both the patient and the parent, and as such, we provide ample time to answer your questions. If treatment is indicated, we can begin at this appointment if you desire (no waiting necessary) with a  scan (video) of the teeth to be used for treatment planning. Since this is considered the start of treatment, the initial fee or a portion thereof will be expected at this time. Or, we will be happy to schedule an appointment when it is convenient for you.
